What is neoprene adhesive?

Neoprene was the first synthetic rubber compound to be mass-produced. As an adhesive, neoprene adhesive had a wide range of applications. It has the characteristics of large initial adhesion and high bonding strength. It is mainly used in the decoration of homes and public facilities, the wood industry, the shoemaking industry and other industries.

Reactor is one of the key equipment for the production of neoprene adhesive. In reactor, nitrile is copolymerized with vinyl chloride or other comonomers.

Neoprene Adhesive Production Process

1. All kinds of raw materials are prepared according to the technical formula.
2. The solvent, the resin and the metal oxide are added to the reactor for about 2 hours mixing.
3. According to the formula requirements to join EAC, different kinds of chloroprene rubber, resin, antioxidant, etc.
4. The mixture is homogeneous and completely dissolved.
5. Sampling inspection, qualified after packing.
