Functions of Condenser

1. Recover Solvents

When solvents are used in the production process (such as when dissolving certain resins), condenser can recover the solvents to avoid waste and reduce environmental pollution.

2. Prevent Steam Emissions

If the water vapor or other volatile gases generated during the reaction are not recovered, it will lead to waste and affect the operating environment. The condenser can effectively collect these vapors.

3. Control Reaction Temperature

Condenser can control the pressure and temperature in the reactor by adjusting the cooling temperature of the gas to ensure stable reaction.

• Situations Where Condenser is Required: In the production process of some PUR hot melt glue, it may be necessary to recover water or solvents through a condenser to maintain a stable reaction environment.
• Situations Where Condenser is NOT Required: For example, the production of hot melt glue such as EVA, SBS, and thermoplastic rubber mainly relies on hot melting and mixing, and does not involve the volatilization of solvents or gases, so a condenser is unnecessary.
