Various mixing equipment may have different applicability and effects when handling high viscosity materials. Here introduces some high viscosity mixers.
1. Sigma Mixer
Applicability: Sigma mixer is usually suitable for mixing high viscosity materials such as rubber and plastics. It mixes materials through mechanical actions such as extrusion, friction and folding.
Advantages: The double ∑-shaped blades of sigma mixer can provide strong extrusion force and shear force, and is suitable for high-intensity mixing.
Note: Sigma mixer may be more suitable for elastic materials such as rubber and corrosion resistance may need to be considered for certain chemicals.
2. High Speed Disperser
Applicability: High speed disperser is suitable for mixing, dispersing and wet grinding processes. For some high viscosity materials, especially liquids with higher viscosity, high speed disperser can usually provides effective mixing effects.
Advantages: High speed of the high speed disperser and the dispersing knife have a strong shearing effect, which helps to disperse the material evenly.
Note: For some particularly viscous materials, appropriate dispersing tools and working parameters need to be selected.
3. Reactor
Applicability: Reactor is commonly used for stirring, mixing and reaction processes. Different types of mixers can be configured according to different needs.
Advanages: Reactor can provide temperature control and pressure control, and is suitable for some high viscosity reactions that require stirring under specific conditions.
Note: The selection of reactor depends on the specific reaction requirements, and different types of stirrers and accessories may be required according to the specific process.
4. Dual Shaft Mixer
Applicability: Dual shaft mixer is suitable for mixing high viscosity materials, including pasty liquids, gelatinous materials and high viscosity mixture.
Advantages: Multi-directional stirring, adjustable stirring speed, suitable for processing large quantities of high viscosity materials.
Note: Choose a mixer design suitable for high viscosity materials, such as a mixer with a scraper to ensure effective mixing. Longer mixing times may be required to ensure thorough mixing.
5. Planetary Mixer
Applicability: Planetary mixer is also suitable for high viscosity meterials, including gelatinous and viscos liquids.
Advantages: Planetary mixer adopts the motion principle of the planetary shaft, which helps to effectively mix high viscosity materials. Agitator designs can be customized to accommodate materials of different viscosities.
Note: Adjust the mixing speed and select the appropriate agitator design to accommodate materials with a specific viscosity range.
