Why is there wear and tear?
Wear on the bearing positions and bearing chambers of sigma mixer is generally caused by component dimensional tolerances, assembly processes, and wear in heacy-load operating environments. Once wear occurs, it will inevitably cause the sigma mixer blades to run unevenly, cause vibration or unexpected shutdown.
How to repair sigma mixer shaft wear?
According to the condition that the sigma mixer shaft has been disassembled and inspected offline, common problems such as thermal stress, deformation and fracture that should be repaired during welding should be avoided. On-site repair steps are as follow:
1. Lathe correction of coaxiality.
2. Defrease the worn parts of the sigma mixer bearings.
3. Pre-turn and roughen the worn parts of sigma mixer bearings.
4. Machining and processing the shaft to repair the surface.
5. Mix the sigma mixer and apply the carbon nanopolymer SD7101 material, scrape and apply it multiple times to avoid pores until it is slightly larger than the original size.
6. The material is solidified, heated and solidified for 2 hours, and then machined and turned to the original shaft size.
7. Add 0.03-0.05mm to the journal size tolerance of sigma mixer.
