The development trend of reactors in chemical production:

1. Large volume, which is an effective way and development trend to increase output, reduce quality errors between mass production, and reduce product costs. Most of the reactors used in dye production are below 6000L in China, and some reach 30m³ in other industries; in foreign countries, there are 20000～40,000L in the dye industry, while other industries can reach 120m³.

2. The stirrer of the reactor has been developed from a single stirrer to a double stirrer or an external pump for forced circulation. In addition to the development trend of the reactor, the reactor body is rotated along the horizontal line in addition to the agitator, thereby increasing the reaction speed.

3. Replace cumbersome manual operations with production automation and continuity. For example, the use of program control can ensure stable production, improve product quality, increase revenue, reduce physical labor, and eliminate environmental pollution.

4. Reasonably use heat energy, select the best process operating conditions, strengthen heat preservation measures, improve heat transfer efficiency, reduce heat loss to a minimum, and fully utilize waste heat or heat generated after the reaction. The application of heat pipe technology will be the development trend of reactors in the future.
