What is pu adhesive?
Polyurethane adhesive(PU adhesive) is an important component of polyurethane resin that is currently developing rapidly. It is usually composed of polyurethane prepolymer, cross-linking agent, additives and other ingredients. It forms a solid adhesive after chemical reaction. It has excellent performance and is used in many applications. It has been widely used in all aspects and is one of the important varieties among the eight major synthetic adhesives.
What is pu adhesive's features?
1. Versatility
Polyurethane adhesives are suitable for a variety of materials, including metal, plastic, rubber, wood, etc., and therefore have a wide range of uses in different application scenarios.
2. High Strength
It has excellent bonding strength and can form high-strength resistant bonds.
3. Water Resistance
Polyurethane adhesive can still maintain good bonding performance in humid environment and has strong resistance to water.
4. Chemical Resistance
It has certain chemical resistance and has high resistance to some solvents and chemicals.
5. Elasticity and Flexibility
Some polyurethane adhesives have a certain degree of elasticity and flexibility after curing, making them suitable for applications that require some deformation.
6. Temperature Stability
It has good temperature stability and can maintain bonding performance within a certain temperature range.
7. Suitable For Many Application
Polyurethane adhesives are widely used in construction, automobiles, electronics, packaging, furniture and other industries.
8. Solvent-free
Most polyurethane adhesives are solvent-free, helping to reduce environmental impact.
9. High Speed Curing
Some polyurethane adhesives have faster curing speeds and are suitable for efficient production environments.
10. No Shrinkage
Some polyurethane adhesives barely shrink when cured, ensuring a strong bond.
