One Shaft Reactor And Triple Shaft Reactor | JCT Machinery

Reactors are commonly used in chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries for reaction, mixing, heating or cooling processes. According to the different mixing mechanisms, it can be divided into one shaft reactor and multi shaft reactor. Triple shaft reactor is a common form of multi shaft reactor.

1. One Shaft Reactor

• Simple Structure

One shaft reactor usually has only one shaft, around which the stirrer rotates and is used to mix, stir or homogenize the reaction materials.

• Scope of Application

It is suitable for some relatively simple reaction processes, such as solution mixing, material stirring, etc., which require good mixing effect but do not require particularly complicated situations.

2. Triple Shaft Reactor

• Complex Mixing Structure

Triple shaft reactor has three shafts, and there are corresponding stiirrers on each shaft, usually including an upper anchor stirrer, a middle spiral stirrer, and a bottom scraper stirrer.

• Mix Better

With multiple agitators, triple shaft reactor is able to provide a more complex and powerful mixinig effect, allowing for more thorough mixing and homogenization of reaction materials.

• Scope of Application

It is suitable for complex reaction processes, such as mixing of high viscosity materials, emulsification reactions, high speed shear reactions, etc., which require strong mixing effects.
