Dec 15,2023 JCT
Hot melt butyl adhesive is a high-performance structural adhesive. Its production technology is relatively difficult, but it has a wide range of uses. For example, it has a large number of applications in construction, transportation, aviation, electronics and other fields.
Hot Melt Butyl Adhesive Production
1. Material Preparation
Mainly prepare raw materials such as thylene, butadiene, styrene, etc., and also need to add auxiliary agents such as catalysts, stabilizers, fillers, plasticizers and solvents.
2. Mixing
Mix the above raw materials evenly under accurately measured external shear force.
3. Reaction
Under high temperature and high pressure conditions, polymerization reaction is carried out to generate polymers.
4. Processing
Crush, screen and shape the polymer into rubber powder or rubber strips.
5. Packaging
Pack into barrels using adhesive packaging or gravity filling.
Hot Melt Butyl Adhesive QC
1. Quality of Raw Materials
The raw materials for preparing hot melt butyl adhesive need to undergo strict material composition analysis to ensure the quality of the final product.
2. Processing Conditions
Manufacturing hot melt butyl adhesive requires strict drying, purification and other production conditions. If the temperature, humidity and catalyst quantity are not appropriate, it may cause problems with product quality.
3. Product Testing
Hot melt butyl rubber that has been produced needs to undergo rigorous testing to determine whether the product's various properties meet the requirements.
