Safety practices for high pressure reactors

The high pressure reactor does not leak under certain pressure, but leaks when the pressure is high, especially the leakage between the gap between the lid and the kettle body is more, which is mainly caused by the user customer not tightening the nut on the lid in use, and when the internal pressure is high, the nut on the lid is under great force, resulting in tight seal and air leakage, this situation requires the customer to tighten the nut under the condition of uniform force on the diagonal To solve the problem.
If the pressure of the autoclave has a tendency to drop significantly, the air leakage point should be checked. The method is to use soapy water to check all possible leak points of the autoclave. Focus on the following areas: the interface between the autoclave lid and the inlet pipe, outlet pipe and pressure gauge; the interface of the needle valve at the inlet and outlet, the seal between the kettle body and the lid, and the socket of the thermometer probe.
If air leakage is found, the pressure should be deflated first and then the corresponding leakage point should be tightened and processed, and then pressurized for leak test. After checking no leakage problem, empty the pressure and clean the soapy water with deionized water.
Intake and exhaust valve leakage causes summary.
1. Customers use materials to the valve core corrosion
2. The valve core into solid materials, resulting in the valve can not be tightened
3. Valve in the process of long-term use, the seal area wear
Elimination method: disassemble and clean the valve, assembled to do gas tightness test
