1. Alkyd Resin: Alkyd resins are a kind of oil-modified polyester resin. Condensed and polymerized from polyhydric alcohols, phthalic anhydride and a fatty acid or oil (fatty acid triglycerides). It has a wide range of applications on coatings, paints, metal protection, furniture, vehicles, buildings, etc. Also can be used as an insulating layer of enameled wire, made as inks used in the printing industry, in addition, it can be used for manufacturing molded plastic.
